Bradford C. Witmer, Chief Financial Officer

Brad has over 25 years of finance and accounting executive experience throughout the energy value chain including the exploration and production, natural gas distribution and marketing, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and power generation segments. Prior to joining Zone in February 2011, Brad served as Chief Financial Officer for a liquefied natural gas receiving terminal developer in the western U.S. and for Renewable BioFuels, Inc., owner and operator of the largest biodiesel production facility in the United States. He has been involved in the structuring and successful completion of over $300 million in capital transactions and served as controller for both privately held and publicly traded energy companies.

Prior to Renewable Biofuels, Brad was Vice President and Controller of a publicly-traded oil and gas exploration and production company with operations in the Appalachian Basin consisting of over 1,000 producing wells and over 30 limited partnerships. Brad has also served in several executive finance and accounting roles with Suez Energy International’s North American operations, joining the company following the purchase of its LNG import terminal in Boston, Massachusetts which quickly grew to become Suez’s most valuable U.S. asset. Following these experiences, Brad was asked to relocate to Houston where he completed the restructuring and reorganization of the accounting organization for Suez’s North American energy generation business, which included over 60 power, cogeneration, steam and chilled water facilities in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Ohio University and is a Certified Public Accountant
